Liverpool club rejected a £ 150 million offer to sign striker Mohamed Salah from the Saudi club Al-Ittihad.
The bid for the 31-year-old was in excess of £100m, with add-ons coming in at £150m.
Liverpool insist that the Egyptian international is not for sale, and that is final for them.
Salah, who joined the Reds from Roma in 2017, signed a new three-year contract last summer.
The player’s agent previously denied talking about moving to Saudi Arabia, but he has not yet responded to the recent links with Al-Ittihad.
“Mohamed remains committed to Liverpool,” agent Rami Abbas Issa wrote in a post on social media on August 7.
He added, “If we had thought of leaving Liverpool this year, we would not have renewed the contract last summer.”
